Ambris Working Arrangements

16 Mar 2020

With the fast developing uncertainty arising from the Covid-19 outbreak,  Ambris is adopting a prudent approach and we are encouraging colleagues to work from home whenever they are able to do so as we believe this offers the best protection to everyone during this worrying time. Although the office will remain open for critical meetings we do not expect more than a small handful of staff to attend at the office at any time and for the vast majority of staff it will be deemed closed until further notice.  We have regularly tested our systems for remote working and are confident we can continue to deliver our service to a high standard from home although we anticipate some delays to turnaround times as many syndicates have also adopted remote working and it may take a little time for them to get used to a different way of working.

We still have ability to meet with underwriters on key account negotiations but not as regularly as previously as most syndicates will only have a very limited skeleton staff in the office.

Our team will meet every morning on a conference call to discuss the business of the day and to ensure workloads are distributed correctly and no enquiry gets missed.

I have encouraged our colleagues to ensure good communication is maintained and we are all available on our mobile phone numbers during normal office hours if you need to speak with one of us or  we can set up conference calls as required.

We would be grateful for your patience as the market works its way through this period and appreciate your support and understanding and hope you and your colleagues and families stay healthy and that we soon get back to business as normal.

If you would like to talk through any of the Ambris products we’d be delighted to discuss it with you. Use the form below or call us on +44 (0) 20 3773 2345.
