Welcome to the team Sophie Armour

After working in customer-facing roles in call centres and the hospitality sector, Sophie moved to insurance by joining Xchanging in 2009. She has worked in most (or maybe even all!) classes of business over the years, forging great long-term relationships with colleagues and brokers alike.
Sophie joined the Ambris team as a Claims Broker in September 2023 and quickly settled into her new role. She enjoys learning new skills and has attended some Women in Insurance courses.
When asked what she loves about Ambris, Sophie said: 'The team is family orientated, helpful and lovely. Everyone brings a wealth of knowledge that I am eager to learn from. I enjoy coming to the office and feel face-to-face interaction is much better for our mental health than connecting via Teams or Zoom'.
At home, two beautiful, strong-willed girls (Sienna and Piper, who love their Friday night sleepover ritual) keep Mum and Dad busy with lifts to various clubs and keeping the peace.
Sophie enjoys long Sunday walks, good food (especially seafood!), an excellent TV series and making the most of family time because, as her mum always said, 'We’re here for a good time, not a long time… make today count because tomorrow isn’t promised'.
